We chickens are looking for some chicken friends. Our kind owners love chickens and love to help unwanted chickens and some of us used to be unwanted or Battery Hens until we found our new home. We would like to be adopted, don't worry we will not come along and live with you, but our owners help find homes for unwanted, cruelly treated and sick chickens for nothing. So we thought if you adopted us this would help less fortunate chickens.
We will send you a thank you letter, certificate, a photograph, and our factsheet. We have all been practising our writing skills in the evenings to pass the time and we are sure we can soon solve the stamp problem, as we find it hard licking stamps. Please remember a chicken is for life, not just for Sunday lunch. To adopt one of us we think £12, or if you would like to donate more then that would be great. We are always eggstremely grateful. Where does your money go?
Well you have kindly offered to adopt one of chickens for a year, which we are very grateful for. The money from your adoption is all spent on helping chickens of every kind. The money goes towards a number of things, it helps us to rescue Battery Hens, their care and upkeep and any health care costs they may need. We also help rescue neglected and abandoned chickens and try to rehome them. All monies raised through the adoptions is spent on improving the well being of chickens.
As we have other commitments or we are having to home huge amounts of battery hens. We aim to get packs out as soon as possible of recieving the information, but on the odd occassion it may be a little longer. If you require a pack for a specific date, please let us know, if not leave it blank.
Terms & Conditions
When you adopt a chicken, this in no way gives you any ownership rights to that chicken. It is merely a financial donation towards that chickens upkeep. An adoption lasts for one calendar year, when this time period, you are welcome to adopt again.There is no limit to amount of chickens you can adopt, but each chicken will require an adoption fee.We will send you a photograph of your chicken, along with information on that chicken and a certificate. Sadly on the rare occasion your adopted chicken may die, usually peacefully of old age. We will contact you to offer you the chance to adopt another, if you don't we will choose one for you.We are not taking anymore Chicken Adoptions after Sunday, for those that require them for Christmas. Knowing what the Royal Mail are like orders placed on the 19th & 20th only have a 90% chance of being delivered in time. Obviously we are still taking orders if you want your pack after Christmas. We have sent out all adoption packs that have been ordered. We have a number who have filled in forms but not bothered paying by paypal, sorry but you won't be getting a pack.
Once you press Send, you must then pay via Paypal by clicking on the Buy Now! button below or else your adoption can not be processed. If you wish to pay via cheque, please ask for our address in the message section of the form. Each adoption costs £12, please enter this amount in when you pay.
If you would rather pay by cheque, simply email us and we will send you our address. We do not accept bank details over the phone for security reasons.
